W. Johnston “John” Rowe, Jr. D.D.S.
Dr. John Rowe, originally from Atlanta, Georgia has substantial experience in smile design and functional aesthetic dentistry. He has extensive post-graduate training in cosmetic dentistry with a special emphasis on smile design and veneers, dental implants, and cosmetic dentures. He is a trained artist having graduated from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Art. The way he sees it, each smile is a work of art, and it is his job to exercise his vast knowledge and talent to give you your very best smile.
Before graduating from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry with the Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, he was honored by being inducted into the IMHOTEP Leadership Society. Dr. Rowe had previously worked for the Viral Immunology Research Department for he Center for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta. He is a three-time NCAA All-American swimmer and a member of Po Kappa Alpha Fraternity.
Dr. Rowe is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Hinman Dental Society, the American Dental Association, the Arkansas State Dental Association, the Northeast Arkansas District Dental Society, the Crowley’s Ridge Dental Study Club, and past chairman of the Wilmer Eames Study Group. He is also a 2005 graduate of the Leadership Jonesboro Program.
When not hard at work creating beautiful smiles, Dr. Rowe’s passion is hunting and experiencing the outdoors, and he particularly loves duck hunting with his black lab ‘Jackson.’ He also enjoys fishing, outdoor photography, and chatting on-line with other dental professionals throughout the U.S.
