How Long Will This Take?

Each individual client is a unique case, therefore it is difficult for us to tell you an exact time schedule.  On average, a simple filling will take approximately one hour, and the Zoom! Whitening procedure will last about an hour and a half.  Generally, bonding cases can be accomplished in a matter of hours in one visit.  Other cases that involve bridges and porcelain veneers require several short appointments.  Once you decided exactly what you want to do we can better tell you how much time you should expect to spend at our office.  One of the most important things for you to understand is that we are flexible and we can generally accommodate your schedule!  If you prefer to have all of your work done at once, we can do that; or if you would rather have work done in several short appointments we can do that too.  It’s your choice!  Also, we understand that we live in a world where everyone is very busy, and we will respect your time – we will do our very best to maximize the time that you are with us and make each appointment as efficient as possible.

Will it Hurt?

This is the biggest concern for most people, and rightly so – we understand why!  If you have had a bad experience in the past, it can be hard to get over that.  Many of our patients tell us that they were scared of the dentist in the past, and with a little time and TLC they tell us that they are actually excited about coming to see us.   With all of the advances in dental equipment and medications available today, most all of our patients are very pleased with how easy a dental appointment can be!  Once we have decided on your necessary treatment, your specific concerns and questions about pain and discomfort can be easily answered and avoided.  Most importantly, don’t put off cosmetic dentistry, and certainly not much needed dental care, because of past pain and fears.  Give us a chance to show you what dentistry is like with today’s advances and modern technology.  We think you will be pleasantly surprised!
